A bank will provide an express lodgement service for barristers near the Four Courts Law Library reception desk. The shortest financial paper trail in banking history is literally only 56cm from the Law Library foyer where hundreds of thousands of pounds change hands daily in out-of-court settlements and agreements on legal costs.
The Post Room, from which barristers mailed cheques to their various bank accounts, has been and will now house the Law Library financial services which should open with extended banking facilities by the end of this month.
A public notice says Bank of Ireland will operate the service and will include an ATM, express lodgements, statement printing and the operation of bank accounts as well as a wide range of bank products and services.
An insurance brokerage will also be operated from the new facility by Coyle Hamilton with direct link to their call centre.
