RTE's teletext service Aertel and Goodbody Stockbrokers have launched an enhanced business section, renamed OnBusiness, to include coverage of Irish and international business news and results.

The service will provide improved share price information from the Irish Stock Exchange updated every 20 minutes. Aertel will also feature stock details of the FTSE 100, updated every 20 minutes.

Aertel's markets section will continue to track the ISEQ and FTSE indices, and will now include tracking of the Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 100, Hang Seng, Nikkei 225 and the Dow Jones Eurostoxx 50 indices.

Mr Neil Clancy, head of interactive services at RTE, said he was delighted with this new offering for "the largest electronic audience in Ireland". "We're looking forward to extending and personalising this service as two-way digital Aertel comes on stream."
