Three Dublin brothers have gained with the sale of around 70 per cent of the shirtmaker Thomas Pink to French luxury goods group LVMH.
James, John and Peter Mullin own the chain, which has a turnover of £25 million sterling (€37 million) from its 20 branches in Britain, Ireland and the US. LVMH declined to comment on how much it had paid for the high-class shirt company or the precise size of its stake, but said it would assist the smaller company in its European and US expansion plans.
