A lack of judges has led to a further adjournment of a High Court application by Bula Resources for an interlocutory order freezing the assets worldwide of its former chairman, Mr James Stanley, pending the outcome of legal proceedings against him.

But Miss Justice Carroll will today hear a separate application by Mr Stanley to vary the terms of the existing interim order freezing his assets worldwide. Mr Stanley is seeking to vary the order so he may pay legal fees of £50,000. Miss Justice Carroll said she would hear Mr Stanley's application today and would adjourn the substantive interlocutory hearing to the next list to fix dates where it would receive priority.
