Canada Life has launched a new Approved Retirement Fund (ARF) to take advantage of the recent liberalisation of retirement options in the Finance Bill 2000.

An ARF provides a tax-free investment return for eligible retirees who choose not to buy an annuity. Investors in either the Canada Life ARF or Approved Minimum Retirement Fund (AMRF) have the option of investing in a wide range of investment funds from the riskier equity based funds to funds offering capital guarantees.
