Woodgrange Technologies, developers of multimedia education products, has invested £1 million (#1.27 million) in a new website that provides students with a career planning service.

Careersworld.com, which was launched yesterday by the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, provides each user with the tools and techniques they need to develop their personal career plan.

The site is a partnership between leading Irish and multinational organisations such as IBM, AIB, Guinness and Microsoft.
