GERMAN group Minimax Gmbh has bought the Irish fire protection company, Champion Fire Defence, for an undisclosed sum. Champion was established 30 years ago by Mr Frank Fleming and Mr Jimmy Fleming and supplies a range of fire protection products, including crash-rescue equipment and fire detection systems. Minimax is a subsidiary of Preussag AG of Hanover.
