A SITE OF 3.32 hectares (8.2 acres) at Bannow Road in Cabra, Dublin 7 which, according to estate agent Savills might have sold for up to €20 million during the property boom, has come on the market with a guide price of €4.25 million.
The site, formerly used as a recycling facility, is along the Maynooth to Connolly Station railway line close to the Broombridge/Bannow Road junction. There are 7,555sq m (81,321sq ft) of industrial and office buildings on the site which is zoned “to provide for the creation and protection of enterprise and facilitate opportunities for employment creation”.
A more flexible zoning is proposed in the draft development plan 2011/2017, says Gavin Butler of Savills. The site is secured by steel fencing and concrete block walls on all the boundaries.
