The well-known west Dublin restaurant, Kingswood Country House, on two acres fronting on to the Naas Road, is likely to be redeveloped when it is sold through agents Hamilton Osborne King.

Kevin Maguire of that agency, who is seeking offers in the region of €2.5 million for the property, says it is likely to be of interest to developers in the catering industry. It would be particularly suitable for development into a 30/40-bedroom boutique hotel for the top end of the market. The 90-seater ground floor restaurant has seven en suite guest bedrooms overhead. The adjoining grounds are well-maintained and include car-parking for up to 100 cars.
