Four adjoining buildings at 34-37 Camden Street in Dublin 2, with retail space on the ground floor and derelict accommodation overhead, have been sold for €770,000 by Savills on behalf of Paul McCann of Grant Thornton.
The ground floors of numbers 35 and 36 are let to Cahill’s Pharmacy under a modern lease at a rent of €60,000 per annum. The pharmacy has the use of 191sq m (2,171sq ft) and there is 27 years to run on the lease. Numbers 34 and 37 are vacant while all the upper floors are in a dilapidated condition. Jacqueline Fitzpatrick of Savills reports that there was a good level of interest in the portfolio from local cash buyers willing to redevelop the rundown space.
