DevelopmentSites: A developer has paid a suprisingly strong €15 million at tender for a development site, marked above, of 1.21 hectares (3 acres) at Brennanstown Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18. The land is unserviced and does not have any planning permission but is thought to have medium-term development potential.

David Bewley of Lisney had been quoting an AMV of €12 million for the site which has 45 metres of road frontage. Bewley recently secured €36 million for Barrington Tower, a large detached house on 8.3 acres on the opposite side of the road. It is likely to accommodate about 150 apartments and houses.
