Building materials company Readymix has announced that non- executive director Trevor Bowen will step down from the board on April 29th.
Mr Bowen has held the position for just over two years. He is leaving due to the increasing demands of his other business commitments.
In light of the substantial fall in Readymix’s activities as a result of the prolonged recession in construction market, the board has decided not to replace Mr Bowen. In order to maintain the proper balance of directors, Andrew Smith will also leave the board.
Readymix has also announced that its general counsel and company secretary James Murray has resigned with effect from April 29th. The company’s current legal adviser Clare Egan is to take up the position of company secretary.
