ANOTHER retail investment property acquired by developer Bernard McNamara as part of a site assembly plan is back on the market. Bannon is now quoting €375,000 for 20 Drury Street, a three-storey over basement terraced building which forms part of the South City Markets. The ground floor and basement are a barber’s shop for which the headline rent is €28,000 a year. There is an 18 months rent abatement to €24,000.
Meanwhile, Niamh Walsh of Lisney is quoting a rent of €30,000 for a new lease of 41 Drury Street which has an overall floor area of 108sq m. It is opposite John Farrington’s jewellery and antique stores.
