Five chase Habitat shop
There have been five requests for tender documents in advance of the sale of the lease of the Habitat store - on Suffolk Street and College Green, Dublin 2 - which closed last month.
Garvan Walsh of agent Kelly Walsh is guiding €2 million for the 2,157sq m (23,217sq ft) store which is rented at over €1.3 million.
Open day at Citywest
Agents Jones Lang LaSalle and DTZ Sherry FitzGerald are taking the unusual step of holding an open day, to launch new own-door offices aimed at small companies, in Citywest Business Campus tomorrow. The newly built units are at 4075 Kingswood Road in the Citywest campus and range in size from 174sq m (1,873sq ft) to 402sq m (4,327sq ft).
BT for South Anne Street
Department store Brown Thomas has rented 761sq m (8,200sq ft) of office space in a newly redeveloped retail and office block at 21-26 South Anne Street, Dublin 2. The rent is around €430 per sq m (€40 per sq ft). Paul Hipwell of Lisney advised Brown Thomas while HT Meagher O'Reilly and Savills HOK acted for developers Paddy McKillen and Ivor Fitzpatrick.
Bose makes noise in Dundrum
A new trader moving into Dundrum Town Centre will specialise in home cinema, music and loudspeaker systems. Bose will trade out of 132sq m (1,420sq ft) over ground and mezzanine floors. Although it will be the first Bose store in Ireland, the company has been operating a plant in Co Monaghan for the past 30 years.
• Lisney is quoting a rent of €160,000 for the Louis Feraud shop at 24 Duke Street, Dublin, which is available on a three-year lease. A report in last week's supplement gave the incorrect rent.
