KBC Bank Ireland, tipped by some as a future partner for Permanent TSB, has opened a new bank premises at the former Permanent TSB office on College Green in Dublin 2. The bank is paying rent of €100,000 per annum for the 213sq m (2,300sq ft) premises – it also has a small basement – which was bought earlier this year by a private investor for €800,000, according to selling agent Lambert Smith Hampton.
