Sock Shop: Businessmen Graham Beere and Dennis Desmond are apparently to open a bagel bar after agreeing to pay key money of around €280,000 for the lease. The Zone A rent is about €600 per sq ft (€6,459 per sq m). The agent is Palmer McCormack.

Bally: The lease was acquired by the landlords, and Douglas Newman Good Commercial has agreed a letting with lingerie retailer La Senza. The Zone A rent agreed is reputed to be €800 per sq ft (€8,611 per sq m).

Club Tricot: An Irish multiple has agreed to pay key money of €400,000 for the shop which is rented at €218,000 per annum. The letting agent is Hamilton Osborne King.

Gymboree: The landlord bought in the lease and is about to let the shop to a UK non-fashion retailer at a Zone A rent of €800 per sq ft (€8,611 per sq m). Lisney is acting for the landlord who is a private investor.

Carl Scarpa: The trader extended into the adjoining Dubray book store about three years ago and is hoping to get over €600,000 when it sells off this lease. The passing rent is €178,000, according to letting agent Hamilton Osborne King. Carl Scarpa is to continue to trade from its original store.

Game: Two traders have made offers for this lease which is expected to sell for over €500,000. Earlier this year Game agreed a rent of €720,000 for the four-storey over basement building which has a floor area of 707 sq m (7,610 sq ft). There is retail use on three levels. Harrington Bannon is the letting agent.

Suits You: London agent Harper Dennis Hobbs says a decision on whether to sell the lease is "imminent". The lease of the former Dunkin Donuts shop was offered for sale about two years ago but there were no takers. A rent of €450,000 p.a. was recently agreed.
