Investments:Clients of Goodbody Stockbrokers have secured over €6.5 million for an office investment at Eastgate Business Park in Cork.

The investment was bought by a group of private investors and agent Savills HOK handled the sale.

The two-storey Building 10 has a floor area of 1,985sq m (21,367sq ft).

This space incorporates all modern conveniences, including raised access floors, suspended ceilings, air conditioning and lift. In addition, there are 21 on-site car-parking spaces.

The office block is fully let on three long term full repairing leases to Neodyne Ltd, FSD Investments Ltd, and Transas Marine Ltd.

The current income is €313,911 but has potential to increase when reviews are undertaken later this year and in 2008.

Eastgate business and retail park extends to 48 hectares and is about 10kms east of Cork city centre. It is about 3kms east of the Jack Lynch Tunnel at the entrance to Little Island.

The park lies immediately off the N25 Cork to Waterford primary route.
