Georgian office houses in Dublin’s south inner city continue to sell well because of the rental inflation due to the scarcity of office accommodation.
After securing more than €3 million for an office building at 31-32 Baggot Street last month, Savills is about to launch a mid-terrace Georgian house at 20 Ely Place at a guide price of €750,000.
New owner
The building is currently vacant and was occupied for a considerable time by small businesses and self-employed individuals. It will require modernisation by the new owner.
David O’Malley of Savills said he is expecting considerable interest in the building because of its prestigious location close to the city centre.
