HT MEAGHER O’Reilly has secured in the region of €330,000 for a rundown semi-detached mews building at the junction of Lad Lane and Cumberland Road to the rear of 8 Fitzwilliam Place in Dublin 2.

There is full planning permission for two two-bedroom mews houses, one of them with parking for two cars.

Alternatively, the new owner could develop a three-bedroom mews house with parking for two cars.

Finin O'Driscoll said the high level of interest in the mews building – there were over 50 viewings – suggested that there was a strong demand for small infill sites in good locations around the city.
