UK commercial property values rose by 0.6 per cent in September, the highest monthly growth since April, 2010, according to the IPD monthly property index.

Total returns for the month rose to 1.2 per cent with capital growth now the principal component of the performance. Equities delivered 0.8 per cent in September.
