Comnitel Technologies, a Cork-based provider of mobile telecoms network and service management software, has signed a multimillion pound deal with telecoms service assurer Evidian.

Comnitel will use Evidian's software as a base foundation to develop its mobile assurance suite - mSure. The two companies will also work on joint sales and marketing activities.

In April, Comnitel raised €15 million in equity financing from a range of investors including US-based SAIC Venture Capital Corporation and UK-based Mercury Private Equity Fund.
