Corrs’ cash pile increases to €282,524

The company behind Irish band The Corrs increased its cash pile to €282,524 last year.

New accounts filed by Coppice Ltd with the Companies Office show the firm’s cash pile increased from €160,377 to €282,524 for the year ending December 31st, 2014.

The directors of Coppice are Sharon, Andrea, Jim and Caroline Corr, along with the band’s manager, John Hughes.

The five directors each have a 20 per cent stake in the company.

The shareholders’ funds also increased, jumping from €55,834 in 2013 to €174,046 last year.

The band released their first album in a decade last month.

They had previously not recorded a studio album since 2005.
