ISA International has acquired Source Supplies, a specialist supplier of computer products to the corporate sector, with offices in Belfast, Dublin and Cork, for around £1.5 million sterling, writes Bill Murdoch. The consideration will comprise shares and loan notes in ISA, which has a London share listing.

An initial payment of £700,000 has already been made and the total consideration will be based on the profit performance of Source Supplies in the year to September 30th, 1996.

Source Supplies was set up in Belfast during 1990 by husband and wife team, Eamon and Helen McErlean, who will remain with the company until the end of the earn out period.

The company employs 30 people (21 in Northern Ireland and nine in the Republic) and the acquisition would lead to further expansion of employment, mainly in the Republic, a spokesman for Source Supplies said.
