The exploration company, Conroy Diamonds and Gold, will seek a listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange after better than expected exploration results at a site at Clontibret, Co Monaghan.

Chief executive Mr Richard Conroy told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting (a.g.m.) that gold exploration results at the 1,000 square kilometres covered by Conroy's licence at the Tullybuck/Lisglassan deposit could be quite significant by international standards.

Mr Conroy said further exploration results along the Longford/Down massif were also positive. He said the company had applied for a further 11 licences along the Orlock Bridge Fault to undertake further drilling and exploration.
