The board of Cooley Distillery is examining a series of options to provide a better market for the shares of the company which is currently unlisted, chairman Mr John Teeling told the company's annual general meeting yesterday.
Mr Teeling said sales at Cooley Distillery, whose main brands include Tyrconnell, Lockes' and Connemara, grew rapidly in 2000 and continue to grow at double digit rates this year.
More than 85 per cent of Cooley's sales are exports and its whiskey is sold in 42 countries.
