An accountant with Ernst & Young in Cork has been placed second in the world in the Certified Information Systems Auditor Exams 2000. Mr Ian Venner was among 6,500 accountants from more than 70 countries who sat the exams.

The qualification is a globally accepted standard of achievement among information systems audit, security and control professionals.
