Bank of Ireland Treasury and International has won the premier award - treasury institution of the year - from the Association of Corporate Treasurers for 2000. AIB Corporate and Commercial Treasury came second with BNP Paribas in third place.

Mr Brian Kelleher of AIB Corporate and Commercial Treasury was named dealer of the year, with Mr John Moclair of BNP Paribas in second place, followed by Mr Dermot Horan of Bank of Ireland Treasury and International.

Mr John Beggs of AIB Group Treasury was economist of the year. Bank of Ireland won the award for the electronic banking provider while the winner in the corporate bank of the year category also was Bank of Ireland.
