IRISH Life has a funny way of winning friends and holding onto policyholders. A colleague of the Margin, recently returned from London, rang Irish Life to tell it of the change of address and asked to now pay in Irish pounds.
Apparently this is too difficult for the boys at Abbey Street and St Albans had to be called. A few abortive phone calls later and it seemed the change of currency form could only be sent to the old London address. And they wonder why sales are down.
