Hush Communications, a secure communications and encryption company with offices in Dublin, has signed an agreement with British non-profit organisation Cyber-Rights & Cyber-Liberties to campaign against the British government's new Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act.

The Act extends the reach of the government's law enforcement and security agencies in monitoring and intercepting Internet communications.

The organisations set up CyberRights.Net, which offers encrypted e-mail without users needing to change website or domain name and can be accessed at www.cyber-rights.net.
