IT services provider Data Electronics is investing €25 million in a new facility that will allow it to double the numbers working with the company. Data Electronics said it is spending €25 million on building a new facility in Ballycoolin in Dublin that will ultimately measure 9,300sq m (100,104sq ft).
The move will initially increase its workforce by 10 people and ultimately double staff numbers to 100, the company added yesterday.
Data Electronics provides information technology services to businesses such as internet, network management, data storage, network security and a range of other activities.
The company recently spent €2.5 million on expanding its base in Kilcarbery Park, Dublin.
The company said yesterday that the new site at Ballycoolin will boost its capacity to deliver its services.
Commenting on the investment yesterday, Data Electronics chief executive Maurice Mortell said it demonstrated the company's continued growth in the market.
