Dell, the direct sale computer systems company, has appointed Mr Nicky Hartery vice-president of operations Europe, Middle East and Africa. He will lead a team of senior manufacturing executives responsible for more than 4,300 employees and more than one million sq ft of manufacturing space in Limerick. Mr Hartery, who was born in Limerick, takes up his post in January joins the company from Eastman Kodak where he was an executive vice president.
