CURRENT ACCOUNT: We see that Davy Stockbrokers is holding their Irish mid-cap conference next week, where many of the great and good of the mid-cap sector will be setting our their stall.

Davy has very tactfully structured the conference so that two of their clients, former great friends but now set for the mother of legal battles over alleged insider dealing, will not accidentally bump into each other over the morning coffee.

David McCann of Fyffes will give his spiel in the morning session next Thursday while DCC's Jim Flavin will do likewise the following day!
