In what is a busy week on the US corporate front, analysts will be closely watching markets following last week's uncertainties.
However, in Dublin, the first hearing by the Dail Select Committee of Public Accounts on the non-payment of DIRT by financial institutions on bogus non-resident accounts will hog the headlines.
The hearing, on Thursday, will essentially decide procedures but it will be closely watched by all the main players as they try to work out strategy for the inquiry into past banking practice.
