EBS appoints managers

EBS Building Society has appointed Mr Ronan Egan and Ms Elman Kinnane as property finance managers.

EBS Building Society has appointed Mr Ronan Egan and Ms Elman Kinnane as property finance managers.

Mr Egan previously worked in ACC where he was senior lending manager and in AIB Corporate and Commercial Lending. Ms Kinnane joins from Lombard & Ulster where she worked for the last five years in property finance.

The ESB has appointed Mr Sean O'Driscoll as group human resources director. Mr O'Driscoll joined the company in 1997 and previously worked with GE Super Abrasives and CIE.

The Boru Vodka Company has appointed Mr John Ryan as general manager for the Republic. He was formerly head of the licensed and hotel division of Gunne Property Consultants and previously managed Ryans pub in Parkgage Street, Dublin.

IBI Corporate Finance has made Mr Ted Webb and Mr Tom Godfrey directors of the company. Mr Godfrey was previously an associate director, while Mr Webb is head of IBI's private company unit.

Computer Associates, the US software development company, has appointed Mr Noel Meaney as its country manager for Ireland and Ms Una O'Neill as technical director for Britain and Ireland.

Mr Paraic O'Toole has become general manager of Cambridge Technology Partners Ireland. Mr O'Toole was divisional director, western Europe, for Cambridge Management Consulting, the consulting arm of Cambridge Technology Partners.

Mount Juliet has appointed Mr Richard Hudson as hotel manager. Previously he was resident manager in the Huka Lodge in New Zealand and deputy manager at Inverlochy Castle in Scotland.

Mr Roland Noonan becomes sales director of Horizon Open Systems, the company which provides sales and customer services to Sun Microsystems in the Republic. It is part of the Horizon Technology Group, which intends to float on the stock exchange in the next few months.

Mr John Costigan becomes group marketing director of the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group, where he will be responsible for the development and co-ordination of marketing and sales activities.

Mr Costigan joins the group from Fort James (formerly Jamont) where he worked for the past nine years.

Mr Tom Geraghty becomes regional manager for Costcutter Supermarkets, with responsibility for the west of Ireland. He joins the company from Barrys in Mallow, Co Cork, where he worked as territory representative.

Ms Fiona Stack, the head of news and current affairs at Radio Kerry, becomes assistant programme controller at the station.
