Agency to sell €500 million of short term debt this Thursday

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is to sell €500 million of short term debt at an auction later this week.

In a statement this morning, the NTMA said it plans to sell €500 million of three-month treasury bills on September 19.

The NTMA sold €500 million of three-month bills at a yield of 0.2 per cent in July.

The the NTMA has raised €10.5 billion from the markets this year in various issuances, including a €5 billion 10-year bond in March, the first of its type since January 2010.
