EDS, the computer services company that employs 400 people in Dublin, yesterday announced $220 million (€242 million) in new and extended contracts in North America and Europe.

The company, which provides strategy, implementation and hosting for its clients, said it had signed a two-year, $112 million contract to provide additional services to Italian oil and gas company, Eni Group. EDS will provide LAN and premises services for Eni, which has been an EDS client since 1998.
