Last week, Family Money incorrectly stated some aspects of Eircell's billing structure. All Eircell customers are charged per second for national calls.

Eircell charges 48.4p for directory assistance regardless of duration. The price quoted for a peak call with Eirtime 100 is 30.25p. An off-peak call with Eirtime 250 is 12.10p.

International direct dialled calls have a minimum call charge of one minute and calls after that are charged at 30-second intervals.
