Eircom has rejected suggestions by the telecoms regulator that it has not provided sufficient information on its wholesale pricing for bitstream access - one of the methods competitors can use to provide high-speed broadband internet access using Eircom's infrastructure.

Eircom said it had notified the regulator of its pricing on July 20th and supplied detailed information on how the prices were developed; a level of detail which it said the Office of the Telecoms Regulator had not requested.
