Soup success Cully & Sully profits jump a hearty 57%

Artisan food group Cully & Sully continues to thrive under its new ownership. The fresh soup business of Colum O'Sullivan and Cullen Allen, which was sold to international food group Hain Celestial in 2012. Turnover in the year to end-June 2015 jumped to €24.2 million from €10.3 million as the Irish busienss took over responsibility for other Hain brands, including SunPat peanut butter, Cadbury spreads, Linda McCartney frozen foods. Profit before tax jumped 57 per cent to €3.85 million.
