THE Belfast engineering company Thrige Scott increased its turnover by nearly 20 per cent to a record £6.4 million for the 12 months to the end of December 1995, according to its latest figures.
The firm makes electric motors for a range of industrial applications, its managing director, Mr Raymond Parke, said turnover for 1996 is expected to end up at around £7.7 million. Gross profit for 1995 rose by £300,000 to £2.3 million and operating profit, at over £146,000, was twice that of the previous year.
