The European Investment Bank is to provide €100 million funding (£78.76 million) for Irish small and medium-sized enterprises. The funding will be arranged through AIB and will be lent for capital investment projects including infrastructure.

The facility will also provide long-term loans to finance infrastructure projects in transport, energy, environment, urban regeneration, education and health.
