Teilifis na Gaeilge has appointed the former Late Late Show producer, Mr Cilian Fennell, as programme consultant to the television station. Ms Siun Ni Raghallaigh has been appointed director of marketing and development from the position of finance manager. She was previously financial controller with the Sunday Tribune. Mr Michael Maloney has been appointed chief executive of An Bord Glas, the horticultural development board. He was manager of foundation activities with the RDS for 10 years and prior to that worked for Goodman International and the Farm Apprenticeship Board.
Interoute Ireland, the telecommunications service provider, has appointed Mr Pat Cronin chief operating officer. Mr Cronin joins the company having completed a six-year term as chief operating officer of the cable television company, Irish Multichannel. Mr Gar- field Connolly has been appointed as Interoute's head of Internet division after joining the company from Ireland Online, where he was head of operations.
Gilmore Communications has appointed Ms Catherine Walsh as senior account executive with responsibility for a range of consumer accounts, including Bulmers and Boots Healthcare. Ms Rachel Sherry has been appointed account manager with responsibility for clients in the healthcare, corporate, motor, food and drinks sectors. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has appointed Ms Cliona O'Reilly training manager. Her responsibilities will include identifying training needs for staff in [N O]50 Government agencies, and the development of food safety training standards in the industry.
Mr Declan Lynch has been appointed European treasurer at Novell Ireland, the network software providers.
He will be responsible for cash and foreign exchange management for Novell's operating companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr Lynch joined Novell from Informix Software where he was assistant treasurer.
McCoy Motors, the Lucan-based Toyota main dealership has appointed Mr Conor McCormack as a director.
He joined the company in 1997 as sales manager.
