Marlborough IT and Irish technology training and consulting group Sureskills.com have joined together to assist companies in hiring recruits in the IT sector.

Marlborough will recruit candidates who may not have the specific technology skills required for the vacancy, while Sureskills.com will train the recruits to the desired level.

Short, intensive, training courses will be offered to train people into areas of the industry that are in high demand, with the aim of providing an increased pool of qualified candidates.

The courses will also teach experienced IT professionals who do not have up-to-date technology skills. The initial focus will be to transfer skills from C++ to Java, an area where there is a significant shortfall.
