Glencar's 59.4 per cent indirectly owned subsidiary, Satellite Goldfields, yesterday said it would conclude an agreement to sell Wassa gold mine in Ghana to Golden Star Resources Limited. In March, Glencar agreed with its banks that given gold recovery problems at Wassa together with the gold market environment, the Wassa Mine would be offered for sale as a going concern.
