CardBASE Technologies, a Dublin-based provider of smart card solutions for secure ecommerce, has launched a product that complies with Visa Cash Electronic Purse Specifications.

This stored value product will allow card issuers to offer a secure, global, multi-currency, electronic purse system, according to the company.

The product incorporates three smart card management software modules, CardBASE Issuer, CardBASE Acquirer, CardBASE Clearing & Settlement.
