An accountant has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting Bradford Productions Ltd, a film production company now in liquidation, in evading PAYE totalling £270,000 (#342,829).

Mr Ignatius Forde, an accountant with Forde and Co, Carlow, made the plea in Portlaoise Circuit Court yesterday. Sentencing is due in April.
