The Theme restaurant, Planet Hollywood, due to open in Dublin at the Stephen's Green Shopping centre next month, added financial services to its menu in Britain earlier this week with the launch of a Visa credit card. Cardholders will be able to jump the queues at Planet Hollywood restaurants worldwide, receive advance notice of film preview screenings and get up to 50 per cent off the cost of theatre tickets.

The joint initiative with MBNA International, is the latest spin-off from the successful chain of movie-world restaurants.

The card will feature the chain's logo and be available from various outlets, including the London restaurant.

Mr Robert Earl, chief executive of Planet Hollywood, said: "The success of the Planet Hollywood credit card in America has demonstrated the strength of Planet Hollywood's infectious popularity.
