This year's Institute of Chartered Accountants annual conference, to be held in Waterford, will discuss the theme of "Skills for the New Millenium". The conference will run from September 25th to 27th and among the speakers will be triple Olympic gold medalist, Ms Michelle Smith de Bruin; Mr Colin Newman, marketing director of Iona Technologies; Ms Lorraine Sweeney, chairwoman of the Small Firms' Association; and Mr Frank Murphy of Superquinn.

The keynote address will be delivered by Mr Colin Sharman, chairman of KPMG International.
