Irish Continental Group (ICG) chief executive Eamon Rothwell saw his total remuneration fall by almost a quarter last year to €1.068 million, down from €1.3 million in 2008, according to the company’s annual report.
Mr Rothwell, who owns 16 per cent of ICG, received a basic salary of €508,000 in addition to pension contributions, performance-related pay and benefits. According to the firm, total directors pay fell by 19 per cent, compared to 2008.
The report states that basic salaries of all management were reduced to 2008 levels from May 2009.
