Former Aer Lingus manager joins Fruitfield
Seamus Kearney, one of three managers who left Aer Lingus last year, is to take over as chief operating officer at Jacob Fruitfield.
He will join the group's board and will be responsible for day-to-day commercial and operational aspects of the business.

No decision on Aer Lingus sale
The Cabinet yesterday failed to make a final decision on the sale of Aer Lingus, although the company's 2005 accounts were approved.
The accounts show a sharp fall in operating profits from €107 million in 2004 to approximately €75 million in 2005.
Ormonde Mining in option agreement
Ormonde Mining has entered into an option agreement to buy the Barruecopardo Tungsten Tailings Project, based in the permit area of the Irish company's Salamanca Gold Project in western Spain.
ComReg challenges Smart injunction
The Commercial Court has accepted an application from ComReg to hear its challenge to the injunction obtained by Smart Telecom preventing it awarding a 3G license to anybody else.
Mr Justice Peter Kelly will rule on March 13th whether Smart should have sought a judicial review of the decision to withdraw the 3G licence offer rather than injunct the regulator.
Sportsmen seek radio licence
Ireland rugby player David Humphries, Armagh GAA manager Joe Kernan and former international goalkeeper Pat Jennings are part of a consortium seeking a radio licence in Newry and Mourne.The group is joined in the bid by the Irish News Group and the Alpha Group.
